Details of the Voyage
While I was there, in paradise, my normal life faded to the status of a
dream and I forgot how to live any other way than as a happy
passenger. Now, I'm afraid, it's the other way around. The voyage was
a dream, from which I awoke all too soon.
My memories of that voyage will always be precious to me, so I want to
keep them as vivid and unambiguous as I can. But even before
I left the ship, my memories had started to fade and
get jumbled. What helps me are
specific details. I hope these will help keep the voyage real for you,
too. Much of this information came from Maurice's notes. Some of the
